This week has been very different (same as always), we’ve learned a lot about textures, materials, soring systems, also the styles, the aesthetics of the product, the thousand of different unions of textiles and last but not least the body measures all inside a science called Anthropometry.
From the Greek we can separte this word in Anthropos: “man” and metry: “measure”. and its referred to the measurements of the human individual. IT’s very useful to understand human physical variations and for us it’s been a good tool to consider in our models and to know the variation that exists in different people to finally decide the measures that we are are going to consider for our final design.
First protoype/ Primer prototipo
A good way to deal with this has been to tabulate the various measures and do some quick research in our homes and groups of friends to identify what are the patterns that are repeated and thus to validate and justify our work on the difficult decision of being able to settle the final measures
